Such individuals might include, but is not limited to, Designated Institutional Officials, faculty with a dedicated GME well-being leadership role, and program directors who are working on institution-level GME well-being initiatives.

The interactive, skills-based program will place special attention on the development of a comprehensive GME well-being program that meets the ACGME Section VI Common Program Requirements on Well-Being. It is intended to equip all participants with an action plan for next steps by the program's conclusion.

Course directors and instructors are all members of CHARM and experts in the field of GME well-being, resilience and mental health.

Registration is closed. Please be sure to look out for next year's event.

Objectives
  1. Diagnose their institution’s readiness for change and formulate an implementation plan for improving the well-being of their respective learning environments that is aligned with their institution’s/residency’s readiness for change.
  2. Assess best practices to promote well-being in the learning environment and examine the fit of specific best practices for their institution.
  3. Develop a skill set to enact change through engaging leadership and empowering faculty in the learning environment.
  4. Compare and contrast available well-being assessments and identify which to use to measure future interventions.
  5. Consider the mental health resources needed to provide the appropriate support network at one’s home institution
  6. Reflect on their own well-being, identify ways to reconnect and recharge their own passion with purpose, and develop and collaborate with a network of likeminded leaders.
