Course Overview
The latest edition of a recurring series dedicated to bringing the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine to the primary care physician. The program will consist of 3 short talks addressing new indications for TAVR beyond severe aortic stenosis, how to manage and monitor cardiac issues faced by cancer patients, and a practical guide to the preoperative evaluation.

Objectives
  1. Describe the role of TAVR in different patient groups with aortic valve disease and understand which of their patients would benefit from TAVR
  2. Understand the role of primary care in identifying those cancer patients and survivors who need to be monitored, and treated, for chemotherapy-related heart issues.
  3. Perform thorough pre-operative evaluations while avoiding unnecessary testing and delays. i
