Radiation Oncology Research Retreat (MSH) 2026

This radiation oncology research retreat occurring bi-annually provides a forum for principal investigators and research staff to share and discuss their ongoing and new clinical trials and research endeavor. Members of the department including physicists, attending physicians, residents, department chairs, radiation therapists, and research coordinators attend to learn updated best practices and to increase awareness of resources/studies available to be considered in their practices.

1. We want to ensure physicians across sites are aware of criteria for all open studies and to review best practices. Many new clinical trials are opening across all Mount Sinai locations and we want physicians to be active participants within these trials.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.50 hours)

It is the policy of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to ensure objectivity, balance, independence, transparency, and scientific rigor in all CME-provided educational activities. All faculty participating in the planning or implementation of a provided activity are expected to disclose to the audience any relevant financial relationships and to assist in resolving any conflict of interest that may arise from the relationship. Presenters must also make a meaningful disclosure to the audience of their discussions of unlabeled or unapproved drugs or devices. This information will be available as part of the course material.

Mitigation of Relevant Financial Relationships

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai adheres to the ACCME’s Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education. Any individuals in a position to control the content of a CE activity, including faculty, planners, reviewers or others are required to disclose all relevant financial relationships with ineligible entities (commercial interests). All relevant conflicts of interest have been mitigated prior to the commencement of the activity.
