Department of Radiology Grand Rounds (MSH/MSW) 2025

The Grand Rounds is a lecture series partnership between clinical and research faculty at Mount Sinai and other Institutions to offer presentations on new research being conducted in the field, practical applications of that research and as well as advances in clinical care in the field. Advances in imaging methods for disease detection, characterization and evaluation of treatment response will be discussed. Updates in general systems-based practice management will be provided.

1. Describe recent innovations in cross sectional imaging and when in what setting they should be appropriately utilized.
2. Identify current barriers to standardized reporting and develop an action plan to increase radiologist knowledge of scoring systems to guide diagnostic imaging interpretation and reporting.
3. Understand the role and added value of radiologist input in the multidisciplinary conference setting and how this results in improved clinical decision making.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
