Course Overview
Neurology Grand Rounds is a regular educational event within the field of neurology, typically held at academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, or other healthcare institutions. During these sessions, healthcare professionals, including neurologists, residents, medical students, and allied health professionals, come together to discuss and explore various aspects of neurology, including the latest developments in neuroscience, drug development, patient care, and management.

Objectives
  1. Describe the features of a specific neurological condition, determine which diagnostic approaches are appropriate, and how to interpret the results of the diagnostic examinations.
  2. Objective: Identify which patient population is suitable for the utilization of treatment modality in neurological condition and what the contraindications are.
  3. Objective: Explain to a patient what the prognosis is for a specific neurological disease and how consideration for different treatment modalities may affect this.
  4. Objective: Identify the level of evidence substantiating the use of a specific treatment for a neurological condition so that the patient is fully informed of the data regarding its use.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABS CC (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)
