Course Overview
Our conference will discuss procedures and conditions surrounding pregnancy and its effects on the pelvic floor. This will include debates on operative vaginal delivery and elective cesarian section, as well as discussions of uterine mechanics, physical therapy, pelvic floor imaging, constipation, incontinence, and obstructive defecation syndrome.

Objectives
  1. Review all new technologies for treatment of colorectal and pelvic floor disorders in pregnant patients.
  2. Review colorectal disorders experienced pre and postpartum.
  3. Compare new technologies utilized in treating and diagnosing disorders of the pelvic floor during pregnancy.
  4. Discuss disorders of pregnancy and the pelvic floor.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
