The series consists of a 1 hour virtual lecture on a current or novel topic in the field of Surgery. presenters include experts in the field as well as members of the Department of Surgery.

1. Understand the mechanism and effect of reperfusion injury in microvascular barriers.
2. Recognize and treat compartment syndrome.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
