Objectives
  1. Review available options for transgenders for surgery and pelvic floor disorders. Review the techniques and trends in surgery among transgender patients
  2. Discuss and review the appropriate terms for surgery when providing care for transgender individuals as well as the social and endocrine aspect of transgender.
  3. Identify and discuss surgery option for both colon and rectal surgeons and urogynecologists when treating transgender patients, as well as understanding the embryological background and risks with transgender surgery.
  4. Discuss and Identify the difficulties associated with innovation in Urogynecologic and gynecologic surgery and the most important innovations currently underway.
