Course Overview
The ISMMS GME Educational Conference is a faculty development retreat for faculty in GME Training Programs across the Mount Sinai GME Consortium. The Conference will include a key-note presentation, along with focused interactive workshops on topics derived from national priorities for GME education as set by the ACGME.


Objectives
  1. Incorporate effective communication skills to deliver feedback to physicians in training. Provide effective feedback to physicians in training. Discuss strategies to give feedback in daily encounters
  2. Describe effective strategies to provide improved teaching in the clinical areas in which I work with physician trainees. Apply tools for more effective clinical teaching to one’s own practice.
  3. Describe effective strategies to provide improved instruction in the identification of healthcare disparities in the clinical environments in which I work with physician trainees. Apply tools for the mitigation and elimination of health inequities.
