Course Overview
One-day hybrid course covering the key topics in Clinical Cardiology. This course will offer the latest updates for diagnostic and treatment strategies that assess the risk and treatment of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, mitral valve regurgitation, aortic stenosis, and co-morbid cardiometabolic diseases. The use of case-based reviews will demonstrate innovative therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life, as well as lowering morbidity and mortality rates through the management of various cardiac conditions.

Objectives
Upon completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

  1. Appreciate the role of noninvasive testing in the diagnosing of CAD and provide prognostic information.
  2. Recognize innovative approaches in treatment of heart failure.
  3. Identify the trials abbreviating the aspirin duration post PCI.
  4. Acknowledge, through evidence-based results, recent transcatheter mitral valve therapies with special focus on MitraClip procedures.
  5. Incorporate the latest advances within interventional cardiology and their implications in overall patient care, improving interventional outcomes.
