Course Overview
Join us for an engaging session with nationally renowned expert Dr. Amy Edmondson on fostering psychological safety in healthcare teams. Discover how promoting psychological safety enhances interdisciplinary collaboration and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Objectives
  1. Apply at least one structured communication tool (e.g., SBAR) to accurately convey patient information during simulated or case-based handoff scenarios, achieving =90% adherence to key communication elements based on a standardized checklist.
  2. Implement at least two evidence-based strategies (e.g., closed-loop communication, advocacy statements) to promote psychological safety and speaking-up behaviors within clinical practice, as measured by self-reported use and/or peer evaluation within 60 days post-activity.
  3. Reduce communication-related safety events (e.g., handoff errors, near misses) by at least 10% within 6 months through consistent use of structured communication tools and team collaboration strategies.
