Course Overview
Gynecologic Oncology Tumor Board is an educational regularly scheduled conference that provides a forum to discuss patients with gynecologic malignancies and how they are diagnosed and treated. We want to expand the fund of knowledge of residents, fellows, attendings as it pertains to Gynecologic cancers. We review radiographic and pathology findings. This conference also provides the opportunity to present and discuss protocol eligible patients which is crucial to the ongoing effort by the Icahn School of Medicine to expand its cancer research services.

Objectives
  1. To ensure the practice of evidence- and guideline-based care for gynecologic oncology patients.
  2. To assess patients for protocol eligibility.
  3. To improve patient safety and outcomes by discussing morbidity occurrences, their management and how to ultimately minimize these events from occurring.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABS CC (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)
