Course Overview
The ISMMS GME Educational Conference is a faculty development retreat for faculty in GME Training Programs across the Mount Sinai GME Consortium. The annual conference includes a key-note presentation, along with focused interactive workshops on topics derived from national priorities for GME education as set by the ACGME

Objectives
  1. Describe the triggers and signs of burnout in the clinical learning environment. Identify methods for appropriately addressing and mitigating, including strategies and tools for improved workplace culture and efficiency.
  2. Incorporate effective communication skills to deliver feedback to physicians-in-training. Provide effective feedback to physicians-in-training. Discuss strategies to give feedback in daily encounters.
  3. Describe historical contexts that influence social drivers of health and impact specific populations.
  4. Identify methods for incorporating education on social drivers of health in residency and fellowship training curricula.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credits
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (4.00 hours)
