Queens Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference/Grand Rounds (QHC) 2026

The Multidisciplinary Tumor Board brings together experts from Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, Radiation Oncology, and related specialities to collaboratively review complex cancer cases. Through evidence-based collaborative discussion, the team develops patient-centered treatment plans. This activity aims to enhance clinical outcomes by promoting coordinated high-quality cancer care.

1. Apply current evidence-based guidelines and emerging data (e.g., NCCN) to develop optimal diagnostic and therapeutic plans for complex cancer cases discussed in the multidisciplinary forum.
2. Enhance interdisciplinary communication and care coordination by identifying barriers to timely treatment, clarifying roles across specialties, and implementing strategies that reduce delays and improve patient care pathways.
3. Evaluate multimodality treatment options, including surgery, systemic therapy, radiation therapy, interventional radiology techniques, and supportive care resources, to create integrated and personalized care plans for patients with challenging malignancies.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
