Objectives
  1. Appropriately utilize diagnostic tools, including skin prick tests, serum-specific IgE tests, and oral food challenges.
  2. Develop comprehensive emergency action plans for patients with food allergies.
  3. Evaluate the efficacy and safety of novel therapies and how they may be integrated into patient care.
  4. Apply current guidelines on early allergen introduction to prevent food allergy development.
  5. Describe psychological and social impacts of those living with food allergies.
  6. Identify socioeconomic and geographic barriers to food allergy care and treatment options.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
