This event is one in a series of meetings aimed at updating the practicing primary care clinician with the information needed to effectively manage their patients with cardiovascular issues. This evening's talks explore the latest approaches to managing hypertension and hyperlipidemia, as well as the role of trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in patient with disorders other than severe aortic stenosis.

1. Identify the options that TAVR offers to their patient in a broad spectrum of disorders, beyond merely severe aortic stenosis
2. Apply the latest research in hypertension to the management of their patient to improve outcomes
3. Utilize all of the latest advances in the management of hyperlipidemia to bring their patient to target
