This educational activity will focus on nutrition as it relates to ocular health. This activity will also explore career pathways and opportunities for those embarking on or progressing in a career in ophthalmology including becoming an author, entrepreneur, and leader in the field.

1. Describe the health benefits of nutritional choices to ocular health
2. Discuss challenges inherit to leadership and lessons learned in academic ophthalmology and strategies to overcome these barriers
3. Explain to patients the benefits of certain nutrients on ocular health
4. Identify opportunities and resources available for career advancement in ophthalmology
