he Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Grand Rounds (MSH) is a prestigious educational event hosted by Mount Sinai Health System, named in honor of renowned cardiologist Dr. Valentin Fuster. This series of lectures and discussions focuses on the latest advancements, research, and best practices in cardiovascular medicine. 1. 1. Exposure to atherosclerosis risk factors early in life is associated with life increased risk of mortality
2. 2. This association is mediated to a great extent by silent or subclinical atherosclerosis progression quantifiable by non-invasive imaging
3. 3. To examine cardiovascular health (CVH) across the lifespan, we are leveraging innovations in non-invasive imaging to characterize subclinical atherosclerosis (SA) in young-middle and older adulthood – The PRECAD, the REACT, the PESA-BRAIN and the SHE studies
