Course Overview
Comprised of lectures, panel discussion and laboratory dissections of the temporal bone, the course will cover current surgical techniques, equipment and instrumentation, anatomy and pathology of the temporal bone, surgical outcomes and future directions of endoscopic ear surgery. Course material and hands-on laboratory dissection will be appropriate for both novice and advanced endoscopic ear surgeons.

Objectives
  1. Describe complex middle ear anatomy and the basic principles of endoscopic ear surgery, including operating room layout and instrumentation.
  2. Demonstrate the application of endoscopic techniques to common otologic procedures.
  3. Identify barriers to the implementation of endoscopic ear surgery (EES) at their institution and practice.
