Course Overview
The Undoing Racism/Community Organizing workshop is an intensive workshop designed to educate, challenge and empower people to "undo" the racist structures that hinder effective social change. The training is based on the premise that racism has been systematically constructed and that it can be "undone" when people understand where it comes from, how it functions, why it is perpetuated, and what we can do to dismantle it.

Objectives
  1. Develop a common language and analysis for examining racism
  2. Examine the historical context for how US Institutions came to be and who they have been designed to serve
  3. Address assumptions about how your work is/is not affected by racism
  4. Recognize how all of us are adversely impacted by racism every day, everywhere
