Allergy and Immunology is a critical medical specialty that addresses a wide range of conditions related to the immune system. Its focus spans from managing allergic reactions to treating autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiencies, with ongoing research aiming to improve diagnostics, treatments, and overall patient care.

1. WHIM syndrome is an extremely rare autosomal dominant disorder with variable clinical presentation.
2. WHIM syndrome should be considered in any patient with hypogammaglobulinemia and recurrent infections, regardless of presence of warts especially in younger age groups.
3. Genetic testing is a powerful tool for early diagnosis and thus early intervention.
