Course Overview
This symposium hosts experts from around the country to engage in live, interdisciplinary discussions on the latest imaging techniques to diagnose and treat persons with single ventricle congenital heart disease lesions. These lively discussions will cover topics including how best to assess fetuses with single ventricle, how to manage care in the interstage period, how to assess persons with poor oxygenation in the post-Glenn and post-Fontan periods, and how to assess the Fontan adult patient.

Objectives
  1. Identify how to perform a fetal echocardiogram for a fetus with single ventricle and how to counsel the family.
  2. Describe how to complete a diagnosis workup for a patient that is recently status post Fontan surgery and remains desaturated.
  3. Differentiate the diagnostic workup indicated for long term Fontan circulation surveillance.

Cancellation Policy
A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds/cancellations issued. All refund and cancellation requests must be emailed to the CME Office at [email protected] by Friday, April 19, 2024. No refunds will be made after this date or for “no-shows.” No refunds will be issued for registration fees less than $50.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
