Course Overview

Objectives
  1. ntegrate updated guidelines by specialty societies to provide current and high quality evidence-based care to patients
  2. Describe evolving research as it pertains to the practice of cardiothoracic anesthesia.
  3. Assess gaps in clinical care and apply a strategy to optimize management of cardiac patients presenting for cardiac and noncardiac surgery.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.50 hours), ABA MOCA Part 2 (1.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.50 hours)
