Course Overview
This is a one day hybrid conference on home dialysis sponsored by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Practitioners, researchers, clinician-scientists and RNs who are experts in the field of kidney disease will discuss current developments in the field of Peritoneal Dialysis and related dialysis modalities. There will be a variety of topics, including roundtable discussion with patients on increasing the utilization and retention of home dialysis.

Objectives
  1. Summarize the practices in peritoneal dialysis in Mexico
  2. Review the management of diabetes in patients on peritoneal dialysis.
  3. Discuss the results from the PD catheter registry.
  4. Discuss the strategies for early detection of peritonitis and management.
  5. Examine the role of Kt/V target and residual kidney function in clinical outcomes.

Cancellation Policy

All refund and cancellation requests must be emailed to the CME office at [email protected] by Friday, September 11, 2023. Cancellations after this date are not eligible for a refund. An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your refund. No refunds will be issued for registration fees that are equal to or less than $50.



Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Registered Nurses and Dialysis Technicians can receive 7.2 CEU credits (contact hours) from National Association of Nephrology Technicians/Technologists (NANT).

NANT is an authorized provider of continuing education credits that may be used for certification application and recertification by BONENT, NNCC and NNCO certification programs.
