Course Overview
The weekly multi-disciplinary brain and spine tumor board is a multidisciplinary forum where specialists from many different medical fields gather to provide patients’ specific recommendation. The physicians will review medical history and examination, pathology slides, imaging results and other records to reach a diagnosis and treatment plan based on multiple experts’ viewpoints.

Objectives
  1. Identify various types of primary and metastatic brain tumors on radiography.
  2. Comprehend various treatment plans (i.e. surgical, medical, etc.) to treat individual complex patient cases.

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
