Ophthalmology Grand Rounds is structured to present and review topics in various fields of comprehensive and subspecialty ophthalmology, using case reports to introduce each topic. The presenting residents and fellows each select a clinical case in consultation with their faculty preceptor based on its educational and learning potential. The cases are selected and prepared to be both challenging and informational for the target audience of ophthalmologists and ophthalmic professionals, and are primed to stimulate discussion and improve the present state of knowledge regarding the disease entity and its treatment.

Objective(s): 1 Present peer-reviewed literature & clinical trials for evaluation and practical application. 2 Serve as an interface between the clinical and research faculty. 3 Keep target audience (residents, fellows, and attending physicians, ancillary health individuals) abreast of the latest developments in diagnostic and treatment options in order for them to provide quality patient care.
