About the Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The Office of Continuing Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is committed to supporting lifelong learning for physicians and other healthcare professionals. We collaborate with faculty, departments, and educational partners to develop relevant, evidence-based education that addresses identified professional practice gaps and supports improvements in competence, performance, and patient care.

Our educational portfolio includes live courses, virtual programs, regularly scheduled series, and enduring materials across a wide range of clinical and professional topics. We support the full lifecycle of an accredited activity, from initial educational planning through implementation, evaluation, outcomes assessment, and activity closeout.

Accreditation

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Our current accreditation term extends through June 2029.
