Course Overview
This is a two day combined didactic and live-scanning course. The focus is on the use of ultrasound for procedural planning and guidance (i.e., diagnostic evaluation and site marking prior to procedure). The goal is to make learners familiar with use of ultrasound to guide bedside procedures.

Objectives
  1. Demonstrate understanding of ultrasound physics and ultrasound knobology
  2. Identify appropriate uses for point of care ultrasound in hospitalist practice
  3. Demonstrate appropriate image acquisition techniques required for hospitalist-based point of care ultrasonography, including basic echocardiography, and ultrasonography of the lungs, abdomen, vasculature and soft tissues
  4. Recognize the normal and abnormal sonographic appearance of lungs, pleura, heart, abdomen, vasculature and soft tissues

Registration

Registration is limited due to guidelines. 

Attendee fee: $1400

Course is subject to cancellation.

An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your refund. In the event that this CME course is cancelled, the CME office will issue a full refund to the original form of payment.
