Course Overview
This symposium focuses on updates in diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of selected gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatic cancers and precancerous conditions. Latest technological and scientific advancements and clinical guidelines in prevention, diagnosis and treatment will be discussed.

Objectives
  1. Describe the management of the pancreatic cysts and innovative endoscopic techniques that are utilized.
  2. Explain the management of locally advanced pancreatic cancer
  3. Assess new therapeutic approaches in management of cholangiocarcinoma
  4. Review the most recent guidelines in management of neuroendocrine tumors of liver, pancreas, and GI tract
  5. Discuss screening, surveillance and surgical management of hereditary colon cancer
  6. Review new treatment approaches in rectal cancer

Accreditation
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
