Charles Gropper, MD

 

Charles Gropper graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a BA in Biology and received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his Medical internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a Dermatopharmacology fellowship at the NYU Medical Center. Dr. Gropper has been a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai since 1996. He was Chief of Dermatology at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center from 1996 to 2006. Dr. Gropper has also been Chief of Dermatology at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx since 1994, where he works closely with the Dermatology residents. Dr. Gropper is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is President of the Manhattan Metropolitan Dermatological Society.
