Satish Nagula is the Director of Endoscopic Ultrasound at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Nagula’s clinical interests are in pancreatic diseases, biliary diseases, Barrett’s esophagus, and other pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions of the gastrointestinalHe specializes in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS),  endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoluminal stent placement, endoscopic mucosal resection, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and complex polypectomy. His research focuses on novel procedural techniques to evaluate and manage malignant and pre-malignant lesions of the gastrointestinal tract. 

Dr. Nagula received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. During his gastroenterology fellowship, he received specialized training in advanced endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP.
